Ikea Trofast

My mom called yesterday and she was at the goodwill in Aberdeen. They had an Ikea Trofast for $15.00 and did I want it. Ummm Yes I want it.

So I went out to pick it up and she got the senior discount so it was $12.50 for the Trofast Frame, 6 storage boxes and 5 lids. When I got there and saw that someone had colored all over the boxes I really thought I was going to buy new ones but I came home and washed them and it came off.

If I would have went to Ikea and paid for it, I would have paid $121.49.

About 2 years ago I found my first Trofast at the thrift store in HDG it did not have any storage boxes with it but it was only $20. Then I went to Ikea and spent $24 for boxes.

So for a total of $56.50 I have 2 Ikea Trofast Frames, 12 storage boxes and 5 lids. I would have spent a total of $235.48 if I went to Ikea for both of the Trofast systems.

Last night I went shopping for the gentleman that I work for (I am a caregiver) and Black Pepper was on my list. So as I was looking for the pepper I came acrossed the Weis Brand of Black Pepper for $2.29 and the McCormick Brand for $2.00. So remember that the Store Brand is not always cheaper. The McCormick was 2 for $4.00 but at Weis you do not have to buy 2 of them unless it says so on the shelf tag or ad. Even though you think that it is only .29 difference that .29 adds up and you get to get the Name Brand item.

You can see the Store Brand and the McCormick right next to each other and they are both the same size.

So his med cost $4 I got the $10 Gift Car and then I bought a Thomas Train for $5.99 and then went and got my sons lunch at the snack bar. And all I paid OOP was $4.

I walked out of Shop Rite Paying $20.67 OOP

I did mess up though I should have used one more coupon to get another Free WW Sandwich. Because the coupon was a Free one when you buy any 3 WW meals. I only used 2 coupons and got 2 sandwiches. But over all it was a good deal

The WW meals were .99 each and I got 10 and then I had a $4 off coupon if I buy 10 and then I used 2 Free Sandwich coupons when you buy 3 WW items. So I paid $5.90 for 12 WW meals. I have never had them so I will let you know if they are any good.
I got 4 bags of No yolk Noodles for FREE and my soy milk was only .99 each after the $2 off printable Coupon. Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast is on sale for $1.99 lb this week. I think I might go get some more since I used some for dinner for tonight. Grapes are $1.49lb they are not from the USA but my son eats them anyhow.

I went to the Perryville, MD Walgreens and they are not very coupon friendly. The cashier tried to scan my man. coupons before my RR and I asked her to scan my RR first and she just did not understand. It really upset me when the customer knows more than the cashier. Which reminds me. I went into Rite Aid the other day and The RA coupon would not scan so she had to enter it in. When I went back the next day it would not scan again and there was a new cashier there and I had to tell him how to enter it in. I need to get paid to do this.

-Rite Aid does accept MFR coupons and will sometimes have Rite Aid coupons in their weekly flyer, ad publications in stores, on their website and through e-mail.
-You can combine a MFR coupon with a Rite Aid coupon.
-Rite sometimes will have a $5 off $25 and such so these are great to use with other coupons and rebate items. It is $25 before coupons.
-Rite Aid takes competitor coupons in the pharmacy for a free gift card if you have a new or transferred prescription.
-Rite Aid states they do not take Internet Coupons unless their logo is on it but I use them at Rite Aid all the time so YMMV.
-SCR – Single Check Rebates are a monthly rebate program that Rite Aid does.
-Every Month Rite Aid has a Single Check Rebate booklet that is in their stores. You can enter the receipts online and it is so easy.
-Only ONE Submission per Month. So wait until the end of the month to submit your rebates. You never know what is going to go on sale and end up being free or cheap after rebate.
-All of the rebates in the SCR book are not good all month. Some of them are only good for certain days or week. So make sure you watch the Weekly Ad and look at the small print on the rebate in the SCR book. Usually the free after rebate items are weekly or only a few days. They usually are never monthly.
-You can use a coupon for the items that are free or cheap after rebates, so that you can make money.
-Rebates are 1 per household (address)
-Your check will usually come in 2-3 weeks. You can use this at the store or cash it at your bank.
-Sometimes there are rebates when you buy $20 worth of a certain product then you will get a $10 Rite Aid GC or something else. For instant I received a diabetes Rite Aid bag because I purchased $30 worth of diabetes supplies (but I did not spend one cent because I bought a Contour Monitor for $30 and used a $30 off coupon) So I got the bag and Monitor for free and it had a lot of samples and coupons in it.
-Limit one rebate per product unless otherwise noted in SCR book.
-Returned products will not be honored for rebate.
-If a rebate stays buy $25.00 worth of something get a $10.00 gift card you do not have to buy all $25.00 of that at one time. You can buy throughout the month.

Ok So I went to 2 different Weis tonight because the sale ended today and I had coupons for $2.00 off A1 Sauce and it was on sale for $2.00 each. So I did 2 different transactions at the first Weis and then 2 more at another Weis

So I ended up getting 15 A1 Sauces for FREE I did not even pay tax. But like I said in the Weis post before I did buy 20 coupons off of Ebay for $2.98. So I ended up with 20 bottles of A1 for $2.98 and I had a few other coupons I had clipped as well.
